Redeemable Bottles
and Cans Update!

Thanks to many
people who have been
donating their
redeemable bottles
and cans to help the
animals! We
are fortunate that
Green Mountain
Bottle Redemption in
Rutland has agreed
to pick up our
redeemables for us,
which is a huge time
saver! If you
would like to bring
your redeemables
directly to Green
Mountain Bottle
Redemption in
Rutland, they will
make sure the funds
go to RCHS.
Also, please note,
cans cannot be
crushed. Also,
we cannot accept
plastic milk jugs,
water bottles and
other non-redeemable
items. Please
make sure redeemable
bottles are not
broken and all redeemables should
be free of liquid.
Thanks for helping
the animals and
for making the
process as smooth as
possible!

"Buy A Brick" Campaign!
RCHS, celebrating 50 years, has kicked off
its "Buy-a-Brick Campaign" to help raise funds and build a
walkway. Buy a brick, have it engraved, and dedicate
your purchase in honor/memory of a special pet or person,
commemorate a special event in someone's life.
Or make
a fun, socially acceptable statement that shows your love of
animals and our mission. Your generous donation will be
part of our shelter and visible to our many patrons for
years to come. Now is the perfect time to show your
commitment to help in a creative way, and support RCHS’s
mission.
A 4"X8" brick costs
$50 and an 8"X8" brick costs $200.
Buy two and
take one home.
Buy a
brick and a matching brick is available to you for just $30,
for your own use to display in your home or garden. These
matching bricks are felt backed and come with a stand for
indoor display or as the engraved brick suitable for use
outdoors in your garden or at the burial site of your
beloved pet!
Businesses may also purchase bricks with their logo.
To kick off this drive we are offering a limited number of
garden benches available for inscription. These 10 benches
will have lovely placement throughout the grounds.
You can make a permanent mark with the purchase of your own
personalized brick to become part of our walkway. We want
as many people as possible to be involved so please spread
the word, invite your friends, co workers and families to
join us in this effort!

To help the animals in our care minimize stress-related digestive
problems, we have partnered with Hill's Science Diet to feed our
dogs and cats only Science Diet dry food. This will ensure a
high-quality, consistent diet while they are at RCHS and we
recommend it to our adopters. The program provides the food for free
which is another benefit!
